> I’m Alison, a hairstylist with a passion for creating looks that feel like you. My background includes working in a barber shop, where I developed a strong appreciation for precision, detail, and the craft of a great haircut. I specialize in men’s cutting and also love dry cutting for women, working with the hair’s natural movement and texture to create a shape that feels right for each person. My focus is on the cut and the finished style, not color services. Alongside my cutting work, bridal hairstyling has always been a big part of my career. I love creating everything from timeless, polished updos to soft, romantic wedding styles that make you feel your best on your special day. - **Do we offer on location services?** Yes! That’s kind of our whole thing. 😉 The old-school salon setup just isn’t our vibe, especially on your wedding day. Getting ready should feel personal, relaxed, and all about YOU, not rushing to a salon and trying to keep everything on schedule. We bring the glam to you so you can enjoy every moment right where the magic happens. 💄💍
- **Where do you hold trials?** We hold our bridal trials at our private beauty space in Philly! 💄✨ It’s a chance for us to meet, talk through your vision, and try out your wedding-day look before the big day. We want you to feel comfortable, confident, and excited about your glam! And of course, on the wedding day, we come to YOU. 💍💕
- **How many people can you accommodate?** 💄✨ We can handle a big crew! With our efficient timing, organized schedule, and talented stylists on deck to join our team when needed, we can get everyone glammed up and ready for the big day. Whether it’s an intimate group or a full bridal party, we’ll put together a team that fits your needs. More glam, more fun, and no one gets left behind! 🥂💍
- **How far do you travel?** We’re based in the Philly area and travel throughout Philadelphia, New Jersey, and New York to bring the glam to you! We also love a good destination wedding. 🌴 We’ve traveled to Mexico for weddings and are open to destination bookings, including arrangements involving travel accommodations or an exchange. - **What happens if my bridal party is really large?** No worries! 🤍 We love an intimate glam session just as much as a big bridal party. We can accommodate smaller groups, including the bride alone or just one or two additional people, depending on the date and location. We do have a minimum booking requirement for on-location services, but we’re happy to discuss your plans and see what works. Reach out and let’s make it happen! 💄✨
- **Do I need a bridal hair and makeup trial?** We highly recommend a trial! It's a great opportunity to discuss your vision, test your look, and make adjustments before the wedding day.
- **When should I book my hair and makeup team?** We recommend reaching out as soon as you have your wedding date and location secured. Popular dates can book quickly, so it's never too early to inquire!
- **What is dry cutting?** Dry cutting means cutting the hair while it's dry, allowing me to see how it naturally falls and moves. It's a great way to personalize the shape and see how your hair will actually look in everyday life. I usually do some dry cutting when styling updos when adding those face framing pieces!
